On Saturday 15th we held our fifth candle lit supper at which we raised just over £300.00.I hope those of you who attended had an enjoyable evening and I would like to say thank you to the Guides and their Captain for their help on the evening. They all worked very hard with serving the meals and washing and wiping up. Many thanks.
The guides themselves held a “Masterchef Evening” at which they raised a sum of £133.Many thanks to them for their kind donation.
A reminder not to forget that on the 22 March we are holding a silent auction and that we would be pleased to receive any items. Please contact Daphne or Pete Holland on 01622 676874. Also if you know of any Manchester United Football fans who would be interested in the memorabilia that will be included in the auction do let them know about the auction. It is hoped that Trevor Peacock will be able to attend the evening.
In May we are holding two events firstly the Victorian Market on the 5 th and a sponsored walk is planned to take in part of the Parish boundary for Rogation Sunday, which is the 25th, possibly rounding off the day with a B-B-Q. This should be a day for all the family and sponsor forms will be available shortly. If you have any ideas for the Victorian Market or would like to help please contact Janice. I know she has already planned a number of things but new ideas would be helpful.
